    I had an xbox account and bought several xbox games through the xbox ap. I had a email address change and had to set up a new account. I am now not able rto play those downloaded games although they are in my xbox. It seems the old account is no longer
    accessable and there does not seem to be any way to get activation. None of the "xbox" site solutions deal with this problem and this problem does not qualify for a phone contact. Am I dead in the water or is there solution. Any ideas out there.

    Good day,

    if you have access to the email that you bought the games with then you have two options:

    - sign in with the account to your xbox and make it as home xbox to enable games & subscriptions sharing on that xbox.

    - sign in with the account and start the game, then sign in with different account and you should be able to play the game smoothly. (the account that owns the game must stay signed in)

    if you have lost access to the email due to someone else you may be able to get it back, try to contact Microsoft for more help on how to recover your email.

    Games that are bought on a different profile has to be signed into on your console to be played on a different profile even if they are installed.

    If this does not help try setting that profile to your home xbox which allows game sharing.
