Xbox full screen ad on start up of console

If this continues, I will become a PC gamer or even trying PS. I've been playing since Xbox launch day but I'm unprepared to be subjected to this level of advertising, having spent thousands over the years on subscriptions, games and consoles.

So there is no option to disable full screen ads on a console I have paid hundreds of dollars for and pay a monthly subscription fee to even use properly?

This has made me consider my options as a consumer.

How do I ensure this never happens again? I don't want to look for alternative means of playing video games but I won't take this level of intrusive advertising.

Honestly, It is only going to get worse now that they have to recoup all that money they spent acquiring Bethesda and Activision. Moving to PlayStation or PC wouldn't be a bad move at this point. I switched to PlayStation back in 2013. I haven't really regretted it. It's pretty disgusting how greedy and scummy Xbox has been the last few years.
