    Xbox front light comes on then immediately shuts system off


    So I had 0 issues till today when randomly my game just shut off as i was playing.Then it wouldn't allow me to play any games, it would just crash the xbox as if i powered it down. then i could only watch media, then i unplugged everything and left it that
    way for a couple of hours, just in case of overheating, but my system and power block are sitting out in the open and ventilating and then i gave them each their own outlet to make sure it wasnt a power issue. What could be going on with my xbox???

    I was getting that issue. Now if I say Xbox On I can hear it turn on but no lights come on. Then if I manually hit the power button the front the light comes on then the whole console shuts off. Then I press it again and it comes on like normal. Very very
    odd.

    Xbox one powers on then off immediately

    When i power on the Xbox One system it makes the chime noise and power button in the front lights up like it’s suppose to then shuts off immediately within 2-4 seconds, I called GameStop they recommended a new power supply brick so I purchased one it did
    not fix the problem. Ive read a lot of threads on the same issue. Is it something I can repair or replace or is the system shot?

    So I bit the bullet and deleted it and re-installed it... and the same thing is happening!!! WTF!? I just want to play madden.

    What's weird is that it shuts my TV off, but the light on the front of the xbox or the light on my controller never goes off.

    Anybody, can you help me?!?! TIA

    Controller Turning Off.

    Mine shuts off when the batteries are dead. You can get the light to come on but shuts off like 2 seconds later. Your probably replacing it with dead batteries.

    Xbox 360 Slim will not turn on but when plugged in, power button and disc tray button make the usual noise but Xbox won't turn on.
