    Xbox from Currys


    Hello

    So I've been wanting to buy an Xbox since about Christmas but last week they came back in stock pretty much everywhere in the UK apart from Currys but the day before they did I went into Currys and they did an order for me because what was happening is they have taken the Xbox down from the website just saying you can't buy it then they said they'd deliver it by Monday this week so I went back into Currys this Monday and they had cancelled the order and said that it didn't exist. I bought the Xbox with a voucher to get a small discount so now I have £480 to spend at Currys and all I want is a Xbox but they don't let you order one. Has anyone else had the same problem because the Xbox is in stock literally every where else in the UK apart from currys

    All items are original from new, no third party. The xbox is 6 months old purchased from currys. Last options are a factory reset and contacting currys customer services!

    Brad, are you aware of the problem without use of 3rd party items?

    In response to all other replies, yes i have tried all suggestions with the exception of a different controler. I will attempt to get hold of an official xbox controller to borrow and test.

    Most people are well aware that Dixons are part of PC WORLD and CURRYS.

    And if that statement was true in any way shape or form, They would have said CURRYS predicting xbox one best seller this Xmas, as they have more stores in the CURRYS chain than any other electrical retailer out there.

    DIXONS is practically non-exsistant anymore...... A big massive national (Dare i say Multi-National) company like PC WORLD/CURRYS, would not use their smallest arm of their business to state such a fact. To bring more custom in they would give it top priority
    in their flagship name
