Xbox Freezing

I play minecraft with my friend a lot, and just last week every time I leave his minecraft world his xbox would freeze. This is irritating since now I'm not allowed to play the world just in case I lag out of the game. When I play with him on mw2 his xbox
doesn't freeze. Is this an issue I can fix or do I need him to attempt to fix it. - I've cleared the minecraft title update ( the system cache specifically to minecraft )

Does your XBOX360 freeze?

I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

It definitely seems to be just Minecraft since you said when you play MW2 it works fine when you guys play together. What I say is that it's a bug that 4J would have to fix in the next upcoming updates. Also please do not duplicate posts on the forums.

 

The odd thing is that he can play with others in minecraft and his console won't freeze it's just happens when I leave

 

Check your NAT Type, yours and your friends may not be compatable.

 

Tell your friend to check his storage devices for corrupted files ( white ! with yellow background) and tell him to delete them this will lessen the amount of times it freezes but not completely if the problem persists he may have to delete all of the worlds
this happens on and re create them.
