XBOX freezing problem, please help!

Hello there, I just happen to be a 13 year old boy which who just discovered something very wrong with his XBOX 360 today. So here's what happened:

I don't have that 60 gigabyte harddrive for my XBOX 360 Slim 4 gigabyte model. NO MODS. Only 4 GB installed harddrive with 2 USB flash drives, 1 is 8 gigabytes. And I got 2 of those plugged in. So this is what happened: MY FORZA 4 TUNING SETUP FILE COULDN'T
BE OPENED BEACUSE IT SAID IT WAS CORRUPT.

I THEN AFTER SIGNED OUT OF XBOX LIVE. AUTOMATICALLY. WITHOUT BEING AWARE OF IT IN THE BEGINNING

THEN, I DECIDED TO GO TO SYSTEM SETTINGS AND ERASE MY TUNING SETUPS SAVE FILE

THEN, MY XBOX FREEZED WHEN I STARTED THE GAME.

THEN I RESTARTED IT

AND MY PROFILE WASN'T THERE!!

I CAME ON UNLOGGED IN.

I TRIED TO SELECT A PROFILE

BUT IT WOULDN'T LET ME. MY XBOX FREEZED AGAIN.

THEN I KEPT RESTARTING IT 4 TIMES BUT IT STILL WENT ALL FREEZING!

MY BACKGROUND THEME WASN'T THERE.

AFTER THE FIRST 7 SECONDS WHEN STARTING MY XBOX, IT FREEZES.

WHAT

HAS HAPPENED?!?!

I AM WORRIED, SCARED, AND SAD!

WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!

IT HAPPENED ABOUT 20 TO 30 MINUTES AGO

I think it's beacuse something melted in my XBOX. Not sure though.

Beacuse I play a lot and it may gets too hot.

I'm not sure if that's why

Or I could also have gotten hacked somehow.

And it could also have been that I bought my XBOX in the beginning of june or july I think.. And when I bought it they said I don't remember but they said that it was either used by another person before, and then resold to me… I don't think that's what they
said when I bought it. Or it was either just opened up, the cardboard box that the XBOX was in. I'm not sure if that's true or if it was a lie.

That could have had something with the freezing process today. Not sure though. About an hour ago it had gone 40 to 60 minutes since I plugged out completely my XBOX 360 and removed the air grilles on the sides and took a hairdryer on cold air and cooled it
down for a few minutes, then I restarted it and something very similar happened. I started my XBOX, the intro came as always, where the colour goes into the X in the XBOX 360 logo kinda thing, you know what I mean, the intro thingy which always comes when
you start your console. Anyways, that intro came, and afterwards I just saw a menu where it said: Dowonload or create or sign in profile, but I had no profiles at all! And I didn't delete any profile myself. Something has happened and what that something is
is what I have no clue of. I come to that menu, I click, dowonload profile, then immediatly my XBOX freezes. I can't hear anything at all or move the cursor or see any movements on the TV screen. and I have to click the on/off button like 10 or 15 times for
it to turn off. And in the beginning, same problem with turning it on. So instead of 1 time, I have to push the on/off button 15 times or about so. And that process is repeated exactly everytime I try to do something at all on my XBOX. Please help! I planned
SO so much to do on Forza 4 and other games and I just got this XBOX 360 about 3 or 4 or 5 months ago and this is my third XBOX But the other one, the recent one was 2 years ago and the first one, the white one was about 4 or 3 years ago. The first one was
a white XBOX 360, the very old model. No harddrive (60 Gigabyte external harddrive) included. Not the one with silver disc tray front panel. Completely white, you know the one with non- touch buttons, the one where you have to push it in really with your fingers
and you hear a click sound, the very old model one. I played a game and it was laying with the long side on the floor, so not like standing up. And I was playing a game with the disc in the XBOX spinning at full speed and then I flipped it to the standing
side and I heard a laser burning my XBOX and it couldn't read ANY game disc AT ALL. So I threw it away. And my second XBOX, I believe it had some overheating problems beacuse I wasn't aware until 2 months later that the fan motor was getting overheated and
it melt down a little bit so the fan spun a lot slower and it didn't cool the XBOX down, so it melt down some pieces of the inside too I believe. And this, the third ever XBOX 360 I own, I already told you my theories of why it's freezing. I had tons of friends
over XBOX live, discovered tons of new websites and was a part of like 50+ communities. And I was just so into the XBOX world!!! It's like losing a family member kind of. Just imagine that. I can't explain it. The XBOX 360, EVEN the 360 besides the XBOX, yes.
EVEN the 360 is WAY more then just a console for ME. It has Internet Explorer, YouTube, all kind of games you have SO so fun playing. It's just like losing a family member. Or a blockage created between me and the XBOX world. Right now I just don't know what
to do. And I can't explain with words either in what mood I am in or how I feel. And I really really need help SO so badly. Sorry about the caps lock, I just can't stand it :/ So.. What to do?

Does your XBOX360 freeze?

I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

can somebody please help me with this problem because microsoft cant im starting to get tired of my xbox one s standing freezing and they dont have a ansewer

 

Sorry to hear it. The freezing could be coming from the usb devices. Try removing them and restarting the console.

Also, if you purchased a used console you should know that if you need to send it in for repairs that you will need to pay the repair fee for the console as warranties are non-transferable.

Finally, just so you know for future reference, the only size hard drive that the Xbox 360 Slim console will accept (using an official Xbox 360 hard drive) is either a 250GB or 320GB hard drive.
