Xbox freezing on splash screen

I was playing Magic 2015, when the screen suddenly went black (and buttons became unresponsive). I manually turned off my xbox, let it sit for a minute then turned it back on. During this attempt, I got to the Dashboard, but the screen froze when I brought
up my friends menu via my controller. Again, I manually turned off my xbox and let it sit for a minute before attempting to turn it back on. During this startup it froze at the splash screen (the xbox symbol didn't fully materialize). After turning it off,
my power light began blinking orange. I unplugged it from the wall outlet & xbox and let it sit for two hours. At that point, I plugged it back in and attempted to boot it up. Again it froze on the splash screen. After reading some of the forums, I removed
all used (Wireless receiver, corded controller, Turtle Beach headset) & my hard drive. With nothing plugged in, it still froze on the splash screen. I had previously backed up some of my games on a flash drive, so I plugged it in (it was the only item plugged
in) but my xbox still froze on the splash screen. I have had an ongoing issue over the past month and a half with a "corrupt profile", so I have been clearing my cache on nearly a daily basis -- I also can't help but get the feeling that the two issues are
interconnected. I was told by xbox support that the profile is would quote "go away on its own over time". I can't access any of the normal methods (like clearing the cache) and am in need of some serious help.

Same problem! I did get it to work once. The xbox 360 splash screen was laggy and the sound was weird, but after that the game worked fine until I quit, then it started freezing on the xbox 360 splash again. Glad I'm not the only one with this problem; I
LOVE this game and REALLY want to be able to play it again.

 

Xbox 360 slim freezing on splash screen

Hey, the last couple of weeks my 360 (250GB Slim model) has been freezing on the splash screen and I had to restart the console to get it working but now it will not boot up past the splash screen at all. I have tried everything, even the steps Microsoft
give and it will not load up past the splash/logo screen. Is there anything else I can do? this isn't the first problem with the console, I've suffered with the HDCP error for a year now so maybe it's the constant changing of hdmi/component multiple times
a day that has lead my 360 to die.

I don't think having suffered with issues that still haven't been solved by Microsoft over a year later that I should now have to pay £70 or more to get a console repaired that hasn't been 100% fully working for over a year anyway! They still have no idea
what is wrong with the HDCP errors many of us have been receiving so I refuse to pay for a console that wasn't giving me what I paid for the past year.

I could imagine anyone else here would be annoyed too.

 

I took out the game disc (Fallout New Vegas) that was in the console when I removed all of the USB items plugged in. My power brick has shown a solid green light during all of the freezes and the console has also shown regular green lights during all of
the freezes.

 

I am having the same issue. Was playing Dragon Age 2 off the hard drive at the time of the first freeze. After going through troubleshooting steps on the site I removed my hard drive and the xbox seemed to work. Then I installed an update to the console's
storage and now it does the same thing.

i also have simmilar issue, after playing with infinity marvel super heroes game for several hours suddenly i started to suffer the problem, i been searched in the net for advice without success.

my xbox just swithched on and after some secunds is stuck and freezes in the logo start up screen.

I would appreciate any help

 

Glad I'm not the only one. It might be a problem with your hard drive or something. Anyway, would also appreciate help.
