Xbox Freezes on Startup after getting April's Update

Alright,

So I was on my xbox, everything was fine, I had just started downloading Hitman: Absolution since it was free. Then the recent update appeared, so I downloaded it. It didn't work, restarted my Xbox, tried it again and it seemed to work this time. Ever since,
my xbox has been freezing...on the startup....I tried unplugging from the internet and a few times I got as far as the settings tab before it would freeze again. Tried another hard drive and the same thing happened. Took the hard drives out and the xbox
console itself is perfectly fine......but whenever it freezes on startup, which is almost everytime (literally freezes as it's signing me in, sometimes doesn't even get that far) I can't even address the issue, clear the cache, try to format it or anything.
Just hoping I can salvage some saves via transfer at this point, but with it freezing during startup I'm not sure how that's gonna go.

Anyone else having this problem? Everything was completely fine before this recent patch a day ago.

Freeze on Startup after Update

The fact that when you remove the HDD the console it works means that there are corrupted files in your HDD and you should format it (beware this way you lose all your data and saves) You can format the console HDD through your PC. Here is a practical step
by step guide:

Freeze on Startup after Update

My console was working perfectly until I installed the update this morning so that I could download a game from Windows Live. Now it is freezing on startup. I cannot clear the system cache because it doesn't sync to the controller before freezing. After
removing the hardrive, it starts normally. What is the fix for this situation? I just paid $100 to have this thing fixed after it red-ringed last year, and I'm pretty angry that the update seems to have junked my drive.

Was able to remove the update and I can rummage around in offline mode, but playing games in offline mode still freezes them.

Everytime I redownload the update, it lasts for a minute or two then freezes and begins freezing during startup again

It effected a lot of people. Solution should of already occurred for you. If not hit us back up to get you going again.

Canadian. Running a pre slim elite post November 28 update.

Startup with hard drive in, cat5 in -> freezes

startup with hard drive out cat5 in -> works

startup with hard drive in cat5 out -> works

plugging cat5 in after startup to connect to xbl also causes freezing..

Accessing xbl causes failures. Any suggestions?

Okay so quick update, now getting the startup error e105 again, i feel like my xbox is toast, it still should be under warranty here in Australia since i bought it in april right?
