    Xbox Freezes After Hitting Xbox Button During Game


    I have had my xbox freeze on me multiple times daily after pressing the xbox button during a game (to go to the home screen). Sometimes it freezes and sometimes it doesn't, and it is very frustrating. Hard cycling does work, but only to get the xbox back
    to normal (when I press the xbox button, it freezes again most times). My xbox is only 3 days new- is there any solution for this?

    I get the YouTube app freezing up on me also when I hit the "B" back button during a video. Then I gotta get up off my butt and go push the big button on my Xbox, ...then I figure as long as I'm up I might as well go get another beer from the frige whether
    I need one or not. I think this freezing issue is turning me into an alcholic.

    Thanks for letting us know about this, just to clarify, is this on the Xbox One or PC platform? For problems with crashing from a game on the Xbox One it is highly recommended to attempt a hard reset on the console here's the steps:

    1. Hold the power button on the console down for 10 seconds while the device is on
    2. After 10 seconds release the power button
    3. Press the power button as normal to power the console on

    Same thing is happening for me.

    I found a bit of a work around, as soon as the xbox leaves the first splash screen hit the home button and then launch disc. It booted me into Halo after freezing if I let it go to the dashboard
