Xbox freeze when trying to download xbox live profile after changing email address on the ...

i recently changed the email account associated to this xbox live profile because i no longer had access to the old email as it has been compromised. i changed the email through the account section on the xbox 360 its self and not xbox.com if that matters.
when i tried to sign into my profile with the new email address it would instantly say disconnected from xbox live. so after many attempts and nothing changing i deleted the profile from my xbox and attempted to re down load the profile. but every-time i input
the new email and password to download the profile, it freezes before i can even click on the profile icon to download. so i am never even able to begin downloading the profile.

ive tried different xbox consoles, different hard drive, different flash drive. and nothing works. i am only able to access my account here on xbox.com.

ive talked to many different xbox tech support members, updated all my security proofs. and still nothing, it still freezes. something that ive noticed though is that even though i changed the old email i am still able to sign into my account on xbox.com with
the old email address. it does how ever give me a error message when i try to access account information.

I really do not want to lose this account as i have had it for many years, with lots of dlc associated with it. no one has been able to assist me and ive talk to many different agents.

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

Everytime you have spoken to the Xbox Customer Support Agents, have they given you an option to have this escalated to higher support? If not you should contact them and tell them you want a case opened on your account to Tier 3 to find out why this problem
is still persisting, also note to them that you you have reported this issue several times and that as a cusomer you are getting sick off the run around. Tell them that you just want a resolution to be able to use your account that you're paying for.
