    Xbox Fortnite account


    My son has the Xbox series s and we lost the original account with all of our purchases including the 200 he charged on my card without permission a couple days ago. I put a password on the account and somehow that led him to do his factory reset. I haven’t had any luck knowing where to access this original account. We downloaded Fortnite again to a different account but there’s no games or purchases like skins or packages. Sorry for long post but I’m at my wits end with this. Thanks

    Just so I understand.

    When you log into your account on the xbox and go to the fortnite game it brings up her account in game?

    Did she start playing fortnite on your account on the original xbox maybe and it linked your xbox account to her profile on fortnite?

    No, I did not get my vbucks because my fortnite acc is not connected to my Xbox. My vbucks went to my xbox account but i don't have an xbox account with fortnite. I don't have a fortnite on my xbox.

    Thanks for reaching out to us! When it comes to linking your Xbox Account (GamerTag) to your Fortnite account (Epic Games account), each GamerTag/profile can only link to one Fortnite account. If you are able to sign into Fortnite on your device with your
    son's Xbox account and his Epic account and view his progress then that is normal. However, if you'd like to sign into your Xbox account on Fortnite, it would need to correspond with the Epic games account associated with your GamerTag.

    If your own GamerTag (Xbox profile) is not linking up with your Epic Games account, then you would need to

    contact Epic Games concerning your Fortnite account     directly for assistance in getting those two accounts to link. Just be sure you know the different account log in emails for their site specific to each of you.
