    Xbox (for windows) server blocked


    Issue: Xbox (for Windows 10) app is showing that access to the server is "BLOCKED". The app is running. NAT is OPEN. But network access to the server is showing BLOCKED within the Xbox app (under the network tab).

    I used Xbox app just a week ago (playing Sea of Thieves on my PC) and all was well at that time. This week I purchased State of Decay 2 from the Microsoft Store as did my son. We each attempted to join or invite to the others game and could not. Upon looking
    at the Xbox app network status we both discovered that the server was blocked.

    I have looked at the "solution" given on that network page and followed the procedures there. I have also found additional information on the support site which I also followed. Neither page led me to a correction of the issue.

    Again, this was all working fine PRIOR to May 22, 2018. As suggestions would be helpful.

    I'd be happy to provide some input.

    So based on what you described it looks like the server connectivity is blocked on the Xbox App on Windows 10.

    I would suggest looking over our article when
    Xbox app server connectivity on Windows 10 is blocked     and go over the steps listed there to see if any of that helps.

    Let us know if the server connectivity is still blocked after going over those steps.
