Discus and support (xbox for windows) halo 2 controller not working properly? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; so i bought halo 2 on the xbox app for pc and the game loads fine. except when i gain control over my character the controller is fixated on the floor...     so i bought halo 2 on the xbox app for pc and the game loads fine. except when i gain control over my character the controller is fixated on the floor and wont look around, i can move but that's about it. i have tried a few things that didn't seem to work and wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what did they do to solve it?

    i'm using a wired usb xbox controller.

    Hi there jempritchard welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Just to prevent repeating the troubleshooting ñ, what have you tried? Have you checked the settings? Also, I recommend uninstalling and installing the accessories app!

    Xbox Elite Controller 2 will not connect VIA usb or Bluetooth to my pc

    The original XBox Elite controller requires the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 so without that adapter it will not be recognized properly by Windows. The newer, Elite Series 2 can connect to a Windows 10 PC without the need of an adapter.

    No. This is still a huge problem. It's been an issue since these controllers have been out which is over 2 years now. I've tried numerous attempted fixes from the internet and none of them work. The controller just doesn't work properly via Bluetooth in Windows.

    Ive tried that already, even manually deleting the drivers. Fresh install didnt seem to work. Maybe it was one of the windows updates? You would figure there would be no problem with an xbox controller to work properly on windows over a 3rd party controller
    that has no issues.
