Discus and support Xbox for Ubuntu in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I want to get the Xbox app on my Ubuntu 16.04.01 LTS PC. Can someone please tell me how I can?     Xbox for Ubuntu


    I want to get the Xbox app on my Ubuntu 16.04.01 LTS PC. Can someone please tell me how I can? Anyway, I thought maybe I could install BlueStacks and then install Xbox for android. BUT, I normally use party chat and it's not supported on mobile. Please help

    Hey Anh Kukulu,

    To get a working connection for your Xbox 360 I suggest that you set-up Internet/Connection Sharing on your Ubuntu System.

    media sharing with mindlna server

    Trying to connect xbox 360 to ubuntu running minidlna server, when trying to connect xbox, says PC Blocked in the Network Test -> PC Connection...

    I have read that minidlna works with xbox 360, but cant seem to get it to work.

    minidlna works with other clients, such as kodi, and vlc, so I know it works...

    my setup - wired network, no firewall on the Ubuntu PC, router configured for UPnP

    PC - Ubuntu 14.04, static IP, running minidlna v 1.1.5

    xbox 360 - DHCP, connects to xbox live, latest dashboard update, can see kodi as UPnP, but not minidlna

    any thoughts??

    Online mode was disabled on my Minecraft: Java Edition account, and there's no way to enable it back

    I don't think that would work, I'm playing on Windows 10 or Ubuntu via MultiMC launcher, this is not affected by the Xbox App.
