    XBox for PC cannot install games.


    Hello there I have a fresh windows 10 instalment and I cannot install anything basically after hitting INSTALL and selecting a DRIVE it goes to 100% and then says NOTHING..

    So since Microsoft clearly cannot make an installer.. can I ask for a refund ? Or how to fix this... there are more details" in the details" which are no real details at all :

    And the link goes nowhere of course in Microsoft style... (and they have cloud hosting really???)

    Anyway also I even cannot install games on one drive because there is an WindowsApp folder LEFT from previous installation and the Installer just says fy you cannot install there... WORST experience I have seen since 1996 the year I installed Windows 95..
    how is this even possible. ?

    Unable to install Gears 5 - PC

    Seems like Gears 5 needs to be installed using the Xbox PC Beta App. Please check if your Windows 10 is version 1903 or not. If it is an earlier build the Xbox App does not seem to install. i have this problem with my Surface Book 2 which cannot update to
    1903 due to an issue with that build and the surface line. This means i cannot install the Xbox PC app, and as a result i cannot install Gears 5.

    The store on a regular computer links to your Xbox App on PC which shoudl allow you to install it.

    Hes asking id he can out the disc in and install it. The answer is no. Xbox discs cannot be read by PC drives, normis the content compatible with PC. There essentially are no more physical PC games

    I think it might be relqted to this problem https://aka.ms/AA9svzw that microsoft cannot really fix.. ?

    However this is a FRESH install.

    You cant gameshare between xbox and pc

    You can login and download playanywhere titles and then people on your pc can use the games but no they cannot access xgu from pc only the primary can

    XGU on xbox only allows the primary to download and install games from gamepass

    All users on the home console can use the gold and installed games
