    Go into your TV settings and disable any options listed under the Advanced Video Settings, then power the TV off and on again and see if the flashing still occurs. Some advanced
    settings can cause this flashing black screen on not only the Vizio Tv's but also other makes and models.

    No, the Xbox is perfectly fine, only the TV turns off. I also already have the console set to energy saving.

    Switching Xboxes didn't help and I did now try plugging the TV into another outlet. It hasn't blinked or turned off as of yet but if has flashed green a few times. My guess is that it is the TV, but I'll probably test it a little more.

    I turn off my console, the green light flashes, I turn off my tv, console turns back on.

    I have a similar issue, when im done playing, i turn off the tv and the xbox and the green light flashes, not fast but softly i should say, and the fan is still on but it doesent show anything on my tv screen help plz

    Same Issue with my Vizio, sound is fine... it just flashes on and off for the video, tried the cord direct to the tv again and still works fine when going direct to the tv

    I ,Also have been Experiencing this issue with my Xbox. These past few times I’ve shut off xbox the power light would flash With the tv screen being dark then finally what seems to be 5 to 10 minutes later, the Xbox will shut off.
