    Xbox flashes on then turns off immediately


    I turn on my Xbox one and it flashes white for a hot second then shuts off, It also has a orange light on the power brick. I haven't used the Xbox in over a month. So it cant be overheated but i still unplugged it and left it near and air vent for 30 minutes.
    Xbox One support says to trouble shoot it but how can I do that if I cant turn on the Xbox. My brother let me use his power brick and his Xbox works fine. The Xbox continues to flash white then shut off. The power brick though flashes white then turns orange
    then turns off. All the plugs are in tight. Please help me.

    If you received a message stating that your Xbox One console is getting improper ventilation, or it's hot to the touch, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the console.
    2. Wait at least one hour.
    3. Move the console to a well-ventilated spot.
    4. Turn on the console.
    How is this any different then what i just did?

    Still doesn't work!

    No it did not the Xbox continues to flash white then shut off. The power brick though flashes white then turns orange then turns off

    Hi there, I understand you are able to trouble shoot because your on Xbox won't turn on for you long enough to do so.

    You may have to send it in to he repaired. Is it still under warranty? I'll provide a link you can check if it is.
