  1. Xbox Fitness (Xbox One) -- Calories Burned

I've been doing the Insanity workouts in the Xbox Fitness app.... and it has been driving me crazy that the Xbox Fitness app reports calories burned at ridiculously low levels when compared to both other calculators or someone my height, weight and age ...
and when compared to my Garmin heart rate monitor. The Beachbody website says each Insanity workout is structured 750-1000 calories per session. Today, with the Cardio workout it told me I burned 145 calories over 40 min.... my Garmin had me at 600.

Anyone else have this problem? Known issue? Patch?

    :)

Suggestion: Show calories burned on post-workout results screen

When you pause Xbox Fitness during a workout (start button) you'll see several screens with stats. Included is the amount of calories burned so far:

Once you finished the workout most of these stats come back on the post-workout screens to show you the total for that workout. But I am missing the calories burned amount here:

I suppose you could go to the fitness profile and find the final amount of burned calories there, but it would be way more convenient if it was shown on the post-workout screen. Even though it may just be a rough estimate/guess, it provides a number people
may be able to relate to better than just Fitness Points.

Any Fix for Xbox Fitness Not Loading?

This happens to me after almost every workout, just before the stat screen appears the xbox goes back home and the fitness app resets. Great news is that it still tracked my progress and calories burned.

Xbox Fitness (Xbox One) -- Calories Burned

Yeah, it's really off as I'm guessing they're using some really conservative calculations. It seems to only be able to record a heart rate when you're still for a while, so it can only be so accurate to begin with. But the calories are really, really low
for me compared to what my Polar hear rate monitor has recorded, like 1/4 (150 compared to 600+).

Yeah, same for me. An Insanity workout only seems to burn 145 calories for me too according to the Xbox. I've kind of given up on the calories burnt. I know I'm working hard, my weight's been dropping and I'm exhausted after a work out.

The Kinect HR is a nice thing but I just don't think it can help to accurately count calories burnt. I would have thought though that the calories burnt could be calculated on the Fitness Points too.

I don't have a HR monitor, but from me experience in the gym I imagine that the warm up routines in Insanity could easily burn 100+ calories (when done at 5 star rates) on their own!

The other weird thing is that my average calories burnt stat is "1". I'm not sure what this is in relation to though? Average calories per min? rep? day? what?
