Xbox Fitness Won't load

Having the same issue right now in Italy....

Tried the unplug workaround but it didn't work.....

Any solution???

Have you tried unplugging your network hardware..?

Unplug your Router or Modem and leave it off for 30 seconds. (Make sure all connections from the router are stopped.) Ethernet cable unplug that too.

Once doing these steps.

> Turn off console

> Turn on the Router

>Power on console

> run a network test.

Same trouble here in France, i have the invalid server configuration thingy, rebooting stuffs doesn't work at all. What's wrong with that game?

 

I've tried what 'Jakes in HD' has suggested today:

Resetting the router has solved the issue now two times for me.

P.S.: I am observing the issue only after last Firmware update

Recommend turning of via a hard reset (holding the power button down until the console turns off)

> Turn on the Router

>Power on console

Turning on Via the kinect will not work if you have hard reset your console

i am also getting the invalid configuration file and have been for the better part of this last week. the one time i could get fitness to open and access my workout it kept freezing up..then back to the invalid config file again...

 

I had similar issue and deleted save file on console and the game works now.

 

Just adding my two cents here; I went to load Xbox Fitness this morning after taking the last two days off, and got the 'Invalid configuration file' error. I did the stupid restart/hard restart and nothing worked. Came to the forum to see I'm not the only
one dealing with this error.

Xbox Live services says it's up and running, but that's a load of horse crap.

What seems to be the issue, why is restarting the Xbox the only solution they can come up with, and how loud do we need to get before they will fix this?

I had issues with Xbox Fitness crashing in the middle of workouts, losing all acquired points, I've had issues with Kinect not recognizing that I'm working out right in front of the darn thing; this is just icing on the cake.

I was psyched to have access to this feature, now it's just a pain, and I'm questioning, given the lack of response on Microsoft's part, whether or not their loyal users are a priority.

 

Same "Invalid Configuration" file issue here.

 

In my case, when I launch Xbox fitness it just goes to the green screen with "Xbox fitness" on it and the little green loading dots then it goes right back to the home screen without loading fully. It's been a while now and no solution yet from MS???

 

Mine is doing the same thing attempting to load and going back to the home screen. this is the first time this has happened for me, except when initially installing it. I also like to say that I am having problems with the Xbox fitness where it won't register
some of the work I am putting in.

Updated Xbox Fitness this morning, hoping it would work better, and now I have almost the same issue (game goes to the loading screen, loads for a while and then exits...).

I'll try the "delete your game profile data" solution tonight.

And of course, THANK YOU MICROSOFT FOR THIS USELESS "SUPPORT" FORUM. I mean, the only support I can see here comes from your loyal customers (in this thread or others about Kinect not working properly). If you are actually paying people, you should consider
paying US instead. Or at least APOLOGIZE.

And what about requalifying Fitness as a beta version? Would match what we are experiencing....

I'm using (or trying to use) the app on a daily basis, I bought the One for this at first. Too many issues (which should be listed in another thread), and absolutely NO answer from your part :-/

I really hope the last updates (both fitness' one and the April One's one) will fix everything.

Ok, I tried almost every possible solutions, none works.

- Recalibrating Kinect: FAIL

- Turning the console off and unplugging it for a few minutes: FAIL

- Uninstalling / reinstalling Fitness: FAIL

- Deleting my local profile data: FAIL

- Switching to a wired network: FAIL

- Reconfiguring my WIFI network: FAIL

- Yelling at Microsoft: FAIL

I'm now clueless and disappointed. I need my daily training, I know I could do it without Fitness but I like seeing how much I progressed (or did not ). It's a great motivation.

So, one more time: MS people, PLEASE GIVE US AN ANSWER... I'm starting telling people NOT to buy a One now because it's still too buggy/unfinished (games exiting with no reason, unstable network stack, noisy power adapter - yep, it's noisy, I have to unplug
it if people want to sleep in the same room, this is not what I call a silent device).

Note: I updated to the One's april preview AFTER Fitness started failing. In fact it started right after Fitness being updated two days ago, as stated in my previous message. So there must be a glitch in the last version. A really freakin unpleasant one,
if I may.

 

MS said to uninstall the game. Then hold the power button the the console until it shuts down. Then wait 30 seconds and re install Xbox fitness. It worked for me. Good luck!

 

The same from me here in Mexico, the app is just not loading and some times show a network or server problem, two days now app not working, this is just sad.
