stuck on warning "don't overexert yourself"

I was able to start up Xbox Fitness under a different profile then switch to my profile within Xbox Fitness. I then shut it down and was able to launch it under my profile.

Xbox Fitness problem with Insanity course.

You might want to try these steps:

Try to launch Xbox Fitness, get error.

    1. Go to settings.

    2. Test multiplayer connection.

    3. Once that's done, hold LT, RT, LB, RB to launch more info about your connection.

    4. Go back to Xbox Fitness.

    5. Profit!

I'm dealing with the same issue, but I do have a question for you. Did you happen to receive an error message when you first started it up?

The error message would look something like the following

""FitCloud Server Error - Xbox Fitness is unavailable at this time as we cannot connect to token service""

Hello! Another desperate user here... I was gettin a black screen and the message:

FitCloud Server Error - Xbox Fitness is unavailable at this time as we cannot...

I tried another Xbox One in the office, loaded my profile, and in the office I was able to play Xbox Fitness.

Desperate, I arrived home, did a factory reset, loaded my profile, installed Xbox Fitness again and...

    Ta-daah!!!! It worked!

I know it is not the best solution but... Try a factory reset, reload your profile and reinstall the game. And of course, reinstall all the content you had on your console.

I ended up removing it and re-installing it and it still didn't work but once I had shut off my xbox for an hour and had shut off my router for the same amount of time it ended up working again.

  7. Xbox support told me to hold the power button on the face of the Xbox unit for 15 seconds and it does a reset. Seemed to fix my issue. They also told me this is troubleshooting step #1 for most problems....

I got this elsewhere. Log into settings, click disc and blu-ray, click persistent storage and then clear persistent storage. Do it 3 times, not really sure if that is needed or once is enough.

I was stuck on the warning screen and after I did that I was able to play the videos. Could have been a coincidence.

  10. I ran into a similar problem: Xbox Fitness would launch, get past the initial loading screen, past the "Don't overexert yourself..." message and then show the loading circle on the Xbox Fitness main menu, but just sit there forever.

I tried a bunch of solutions listed all over the web (except actually resetting to factory defaults), and even called Xbox support who had me perform some standard refresh methods as well as removing and re-adding my primary account profile. None of that
    worked.

Then the support tech asked me if the app worked under any of the other accounts on the system. When I signed into the secondary account, Xbox Fitness launched all the way to the main menu, and worked correctly. While in the Xbox Fitness main menu, I was
able to switch the Xbox Fitness profile to my primary account and then start a workout. After letting the workout run for a little bit, I exited back to the main menu, and then force quit the Xbox Fitness app (highlight the main tile on the home screen, hit
the menu button and select "Quit"). Next, I signed into my primary account. When I launched the Xbox Fitness app, everything worked correctly.

Just another thing to try if you find yourself stuck.

No I received no error message of that type, but it did say my internet wasn't connected. Also I tried accessing it in the home page and through the apps portion but neither would work it simply brought up the green Xbox fitness logo, then proceeded to crash

  12. I am unable to use my Xbox Fitness because it keeps kicking me out back to the home screen. Sometimes it gets to the "Don't overexert yourself" message and other times it does not even get past the green title screen. I need help or I am taking this back
as soon as I get a chance.

Same here, after I joined the gold membership I can never enjoy the Xbox Fitness, the screen just stay at "Don't overexert yourself..." and seems it is not valuable for joining the membership.

I tried to reinstalled and restart the Xbox one but it still doesn't work. Can the staff just try to fix the problem ASAP since it is very annoying.

I know it is a worthless workaround, but in my experience the game doesn't actually hang on the loading / 'Don't overexert yourself' warning screen'. It just takes a really long time to launch. I had the same issue months ago. When you let the game sit on
that screen for a long time it will launch eventually. But i am talking about waiting for about an hour, for me it took about 45 minutes total.

The good news is, once it does eventually load the game will behave normally after that. It will also start at normal speed the times after that. ...unitl you run into the issue again that is. Personally haven't encountered it anymore for over half a year
    now.

Xbox hard reset (holding power button for a few seconds, clearing Blu-ray presistent storage, and just un-installing Xbox Fitness and its DLCs and then re-downloading it are always good things to try and solve issues in general too.
