Xbox Fitness will not run

I have downloaded and installed Xbox Fitness. When I go to run it, it either stops at the Xbox Fitness screen with the dots flashing across the bottom, or with the disclaimer about not over exhorting yourself. I have tried uninstalling, unplugging the
unit, plugging it back in, reinstalling and nothing seems to work. I was able to get it to work on two occasions, but that is it. Originally, I may have tried to install it without creating an Xbox Gold account. And then I used the 14-day free trial to
run it. However, last night I purchased the 1-year gold membership and then tried to reinstall again, to no avail.

Some other information - when I go to network information, I do not get anything under Download speed. I have tried both wired and wireless connections and both doesn't seem to give me a download speed.

I also have NFS, and have successfully connected to Live games. However, I would like to know if you can disable this feature, since I mostly like to do career stuff and don't want to have to wait to find a game to join.

All-in-all, I have been EXTREMELY disappointed with the Xbox One. Only previously having the original Wii (before that an Atari system in the 80s), I am really hating both the voice commands and the hand
gesturing. Only problem I ever had with the Wii was the disc drive went bad after several years.

Question to microsoft: what is the minimum bandwith to play xbox fitness ?

I joined xbox live gold for xbox fitness app. But now i can not run the xbox fitness app. Because the video stops all 10 seconds. I have a 3 mbit connection. Is this to less for xbox fitness ? What can i do ? Is there a disc ?

Good question @Smurf - I too would like to know if Xbox Fitness supports multiple users.

I regularly run (marathan and ultras) but got to say the 1 hour Xbox Fitness session I did yesterday had me aching as much as (if not more than) I do after completing a marathon. Seriously good (and not yet quite appreciated enough) feature of X1.

 

You said you got it to work on two occasions, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I know the first time I launched it I thought it was locked up because it stayed on the warning screen for over a minute. So I quit it and relaunched to the same thing.
I think it took about 5 minutes or so to get past that screen and finally get into it. After that initial launch, every time I've gone in has been quick, like maybe 15 seconds.



I know it's very bandwidth intensive as there are other threads with people getting errors due to bandwidth. What Internet speed do you have? Maybe try a different time of day and see if it's different, for example I use it in the morning EST.

 

The problem is that it doesn't run. I have tried three times to get it to work, spending about an hour each time, since it worked. Also, I do not know what my download speed is, because when I go to the network information page, there isn't a number under
download speed.

As far as working out at a different time of the day, that is unacceptable. I have a very busy schedule and only have early evenings (EST) to workout. However, I will try it for testing purposes.

Also, I have reading other threads inregard to the bandwidth requirements and have not found any. From what I recall on the Xbox Fitness webpage, I never saw anything about bandwidth requirements. I would really like to know what they are.
