  1. Xbox Fitness unable to launch: "Resource not found, CDN error"

I have been searching the forums looking for any recent (Jan 2015) reported problems with the launching of the Xbox Fitness app. Lately, I have been receiving the "Resource not found: CDN error" message and then booted back to the home screen. Just earlier
this week, the app seemed to work fine. I know there are now changes to Fitness come 2015 (i.e. many programs are now paid subscriptions) but I was under the impression that Live Gold members had free access to limited workouts.

Anybody else experiencing this issue in 2015? Any suggested solutions other than hard resetting the console or uninstalling / installing the app? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    :)

Same error here, "Resource not found. CDN error." when trying to launch Xbox Fitness. It had worked fine for me for about 3 weeks (sometimes it was really slow to load). It last worked on Saturday May 16, 2015, then yesterday morning, Monday May 19, 2015,
I started getting the CDN error and it has been the same since.

Can some one from support at least respond with what CDN stands for?

I'm not sure if I'll embark on the delete, reset, and reinstall route. It seems more likely to not work than work.

Please help us, Xbox support team!

  4. Xbox Fitness unable to launch: "Resource not found, CDN error"

It started for me on 24 Jan 15 - everything worked fine all week long... then sh*t! I have been TWEETING for assistance with XBOX Support... I hope they have the fix! When this happens, it makes it pretty hard to justify spending money on the fitness apps
($59.00 for INSANITY)... when I am just going to be locked out! THIS IS QUITE UNACCEPTABLE! ... If I get good help, I will hit you back.

  5. Thanks Panda. After continuous days of the same error code, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app and lo and behold the app does launch again (for now)! You are right though, with the year trial being over, I too am finding it hard to justify shelling
out extra for full programs that may or may not load consistently. Oh no. Must I travel OUTSIDE now for my exercise? Gosh, I hope not!

Let me know if it gets better for you.

  6. Hey... that is pretty much how I ended up finally getting my box fixed (uninstall/reinstall)! Did a bunch of other stuff before that also, not sure if that was the actual fix. I bet I tried 30 times to get Xbox to synch my data with the server. Each time
it failed, I was getting just a little more ***! I really wish they would get their sh*t together... and keep it together. They pimp their cloud services and all the other stuff like it's the be-all-end-all... if you are going to put your *** out on a line
like that... you better be able to back it the hell up! (Just Sayin') -- Take care... Happy gaming ... Cheers
