All apps work fine accept my xbox fitness. When i try to do a workout the video pops up, i can hear it just fine, but i cant see it. there is just a black screen with the audio. I see the little black box with myself in it being video'd from the kinect,
but the actual workout video is black. all other apps work ok

    :)

  2. XBox Fitness Still Not Ready for Primetime

    Wow that's insane.

I come here to report my problems with Xbox Fitness and I've seen that 90% of the forum are experiencing the same problems.

It's painfull to see no response in the forum from Microsoft and it's worst to see that Xbox Fitness Team doesn't solve the problems that all of us are experiencing.

I've the same problems as you and as I've said to @XboxFitness the ability to host the workouts on our XBox, instead of downloading/streaming every single time and being at the whim of the Internet gods, must be mandatory.

I hope to see this before Xbox Fitness needs a paid subscription on early 2015 :-(

  3. Xbox Fitness Won't load

I have been having the same problems, Xbox Fitness hasn't worked at all for a few days.

I found a fix that worked for me:

I unplugged my Xbox One from the wall, waited 15 seconds, plugged it back in. Xbox Fitness worked for my next session without a problem.

Can you try holding the power button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the issue?

I am very disappointed in the band width problem, but I am also experiencing a need to reboot the kinect frequently to be able to use Fitness, even though it is working fine on everything else. I upgraded from 360 just for the Fitness which is a terrific
program if and when it works. After rebooting Kinect over a period of a couple months (At this point my system was one month and 4 days old) it suddenly kept stopping intermittently and I had to get a new one via exchange through Microsoft.

I've been having this exact same problem. Audio but no video, only a reboot of the X1 fixes it. Had it yesterday, had to reboot, again to today, reboot again. Other streaming video apps work fine, tried YouTube and Amazon Prime.

I haven't been able to work out very much lately, but now this has happened 4 times in the last two weeks out of 6 times using it. Seems to me to have started with the last app update that has the loading bar during the warning splash screen.

It's like someone posts the same post every week. Read through the Xbox Fitness forum and see that others are experiencing the same issues then add your comments to that thread.

Hey there kachent! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

To start off, I suggest completely uninstalling and reinstalling Xbox Fitness. To do that:

    • Go to My Games and Apps.
    • Hover over Xbox Fitness and press the Menu Button.
    • Select Uninstall from the drop-down list.
    • Press and hold the power button on your console for 5-10 seconds until the console powers off.
    • Wait at least 60 seconds.
    • Power the console on.
    • Wait for the console to fully boot.
    • Search for Xbox Fitness and download it again.

Once that's done, try it out a few times (even a few days, if you'd like) and let us know if you still experience the same issue.

We'll be standing by to hear back from you! ^_^

    Problems with xbox fitness

The movement recognition doesn't work properly. On every second exercise it just doesn't recognice that I'm moving. This is very annoing. Will they ever fix this or is this "game" too unimportant because it's free?
