    Xbox Fitness not loading kinect.


    Hi everyone,

    so my problem is happening within Xbox Fitness and it won't load the kinect sensor info properly, either it's frozen or doesn't register a person at all - this is only happening inside Xbox Fitness everywhere else the Kinect is working great!

    The only fix I've found is an uninstall and reinstall of the app but I don't want to have to do that every time I come back to use the app, anyone else had this problem or know a better fix?

    Xbox Fitness problem with Insanity course.

    Strange I am also having problems with Xbox Fitness but I am not getting any errors.

    Xbox Fitness starts up fine and plays the intro video fine. The problem is when it goes to the xbox fitness home screen it just sits there with the loading dots going in a circle. It never loads the workout library. I can't delete the cloud data because
    it is stuck loading.

    Anyone have this problem?

    When i first set the box up i had tagged everything i could find to download, which is why i though it may have corrupted itself somehow, but i did delete it and re-download it with no success... shame as i'm desperate to give it a go. Might try to redownload
    again when i get home tonight!

    Have you tried powering it off and unplugging power supply for a minute? Worked for me when froze up today.

    THANK GOD the XB1 cannot record from the kinect and save to file for uploading.. I can see Youtube being loaded with super Kinect fitness fails all over the place...

    New Lag/Freezes Since XBox Fitness Update

    Same issue here. Seems to be worse if you come back after suspending xbox fitness (when it doesnt crash when you come back). almost impossible to navigate and avatar is delayed and low fps. Have to start another app and restart xbox fitness.

    Also just had crash to home after finishing a workout but before getting scores. This has infrequently happened since launch.

    Xbox fitness always has always bad kinect menu support - I actually used kinect to navigate to settings to lower my floor(in vain) and was surprised by how MUCH better kinect is on the xbox ui.

    There is still such great potential in xbox fitness but it seems to need some fundamental overhaul to make it less vulnerable to lag, bad performance, initial load times and stability.
