Xbox Fitness Issues

Hello,

Love the Fitness app, but please fix

1. Connection Issues: the video resolution would downgrade, pause for seconds, or drop out to an error screen. This happens frequently, can be 5-6 times during a 20-minute workout. Every other game/app or device works fine, so it's not an ISP issue.

2. More Content? I have purchased several workouts in the Fitness app, but would like some (re)assurance that more/newer contents will be available soon, as I intend to invest in this platform.

Azure server error

Hi, is anyone else having issues opening xbox fitness? I keep getting a message saying azure server error, xbox fitness was unable to retrieve configuration data.

 

Nike Fitness Please

I haven't been experiencing tech issues with Xbox Fitness (just started though). I am missing Nike Fitness however. I liked having one personal trainer and frequent fitness tests--it felt like a more complete and tailored-to-me experience. I'm also not into
the "fitness personalities" and all their motivational shouting that Xbox Fitness offers and would be into a more low key and cooler/hipper approach. Xbox Fitness just feels like fitness DVDs with a slightly better experience. Yoga would be great too.

I'm hoping that Xbox sticks with this though and I will continue to support it as working out this way is the most efficient way for me given my ridiculous schedule.

Same here, connection dropped three times today while my bandwidth was stable at 9Mbps (which is not that great but should be way enough for Fitness, don't you think?). I bet it comes from the remote servers and not from my ISP.

By the way, I don't get why you (Fitness dev team) did not implement a proper caching feature. You can be sure people won't be doing workouts only once, so keeping them locally would be way smarter and would avoid those nasty video quality drops and connections
issues.

This, and the fact that Kinect lost me again while doing push ups. You owe me five stars because it prevented me from getting another success. Grrrrrr....

 

Add me to these suggestions. Connection issues, more content, and better Kinect tracking when on the floor. It almost always loses me when doing pushups or ab work, really frustrating to have to sit up/kneel and wave for it to see me again and lose reps
and points.

Regarding the tracking issues, I managed to make it work better by putting Kinect way above my tv, slightly pointing towards the floor instead of keeping it horizontal (ignoring the green point at the end of the install wizard), maybe by 5 degrees or so.
I was able to go through the entire push up sessions without disappearing (yeeeeah).

But tonight I can't train because of connection issues (while I still get 9Mbps)... It keeps saying there is something wrong. Really annoying. I'll try tomorrow morning but I suspect undersized servers on MS side, and I bet it will work perfectly when US
people are asleep...

 

Yeah, mine is over the TV and angled lower than the recommended green dot as well so it can see more of my floor - although now it can't see my hands if my arms are raised over my head :-S. It still loses me from time to time though when I'm on the floor
even though I'm fully in view - i.e. the first set no problem, the second set it loses me, makes no sense.

 

I have the workouts drop frequently, complaining that i dont have enough bandwidth.

I have 350mbps cable.

This is clearly an issue on microsoft's or the apps end.
