XBox Fitness Heart Rate Tracking no longer working?

Just wondering if the heart rate tracking has been working for anyone else since they fixed the problem with the fitness/stamp cards getting reset to level 1? After the update that reset the level, the heart rate tracking was working throughout the whole
workout instead of just at the end, which is something it never did before for me. Now after my level was put back to where it was prior to that update, it's not measuring my heart rate at all anymore. Anyone else notice this?

So I followed ClaspingBug and got a mount as well you can find them cheap online I got mine for under $10USD. That cured it completely from what I can tell. Also the mic seems to be working better for me with it mounted on the TV.

Beacon I think you are right in regards to it being below you as I had mine sitting on the entertainment center before.

Hope this helps others looking to cure this issue.

Something else that seemed to help... Light. My apartment is spacious but somewhat dark (I live in Seattle - we never see the sun) and I bought a new light. Suddenly my heart rate is tracked much better.

Yes, mine is a newly bought refurb and the heart rate app doesn't work. Looking for a solution.

About a week ago I bought a mount to put the Kinect on top of the TV... Now I get heart rates even for the 10 minutes workouts. I suspect they are pretty accurate too, since they seem to match roughly what I can count on my own...

It sometimes takes measures heart rate during the game. But after 2 months of doing Xbox Fitness mon-fri I think it has only done that 3 or 4 times in total. It may be because I only do 10 minute workouts (for now) and it just hasn't that much moments in
those workouts where the player is still enough to do a measurement. Most of those 4 times were near the end of the workout during cooldown.
