    Xbox Fitness Hangs/Freezes


    Hi Gamers!

    I need your help. I have an issue regarding my Xbox Fitness app wherein it freezes get stuck whenever I launch it (Xbox One). It doesn't pass the green screen. I have an Xbox Gold subscription that will expire next year. Here are the list of the troubleshooting
    steps that I tried to resolve my current issue:

    1. Hard restart

    2. Removed / Re-download profile

    3. Uninstalled/Reinstalled the App.

    4. Switch to an Ethernet cable - WiFi (doesn't work)

    5. Restore the console to factory defaults (I transferred all my games to an external hard drive before reformatting the console)

    I just don't understand on why it worked on me these past few months and then the app would freeze like that. What else do you think are my other options or steps how I can fix this?

    Same here. I can't use xbox fitness at all because it freezes each and every time. Xbox Fitness Hangs/Freezes :(

    Xbox One Fitness app

    My Xbox goes into a continuous loop when attempting to launch a fitness workout. it never starts the workout but instead restarts the fitness app.

    Then after turning off my Xbox and turning it back on it froze. I turned it off again and unplugged it and plugged it back in to take it out of the freeze up but the fitness app issue didn't fix.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    my xbox freezes in the middle of the workout either when I'm doing the P90X or my wife doing the Jillians program. My connection is over 50Mbps so I don't think this is the problem...

    G'day ShockDoctor! Sorry to hear about the problems with your Fitness Profile. You say you've tried power cycling and re-installing, yeah? Is this freezing experience happening with any other game or app?

    Let's take a slight tangent and check out your connection. If the progress is freezing around the same time it needs to access online data, then maybe something in your connection to Xbox Live is clogging things up.

    Please check out the steps here to test your connection    , and maybe improve performance. Let us know how it goes!

    This thread is really old so the original issue may have been solved.

    For your problem please try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and then click Clear Persistent Storage three times. Then restart the console.

    I found that out recently and it solved all my buffering/loading issues with Xbox Fitness.

    I think the issue may have been that I had turned on the beta option for fast resumes. After turning that back off, I haven't had any issues. Thank you!
