Xbox Fitness End of Life?

Vote here to hope we can convince them to keep it up and running just without updates.

 

I'm really mad about this decision from Microsoft. If they cant afford to keep adding content or keep the servers up for the leaderboards and steaming that's one thing, but don't take away the $150 of content that I purchased and downloaded to my hardrive.
If they don't allow me to keep my "purchased" content until at least the life of this console or give me a full refund I will no longer support xbox in any manner. That is coming from someone that owned 2 original xbox, 3 xbox 360, launch xbox one, pre-ordered
xbox one slim, and ready to pre-order scorpio whenever that becomes available. Make it right Microsoft or you just lost a loyal customer with plenty of disposable income that has been supporting you since day one.

 

Just let us use what we already have PAID for. If not, then keep the service active just don't update. Getting rid of this has basically made the Kinect useless for me. I am an avid user have bought $100's in content and am in the Top 500 in Fit Points globally.
This is a very disheartening decision after being such and Xbox loyalist since the original Xbox. Continued with the 360 and bought workout games on it as well to use with the first gen Kinect, and it was a major motivating factor for me buying an Xbox One
in the first place. Just thoroughly disappointed with this decision.

 

Think it's time to take to social media @XBoX and @xboxfitness I highly doubt we will get any traction on our little forum. I started a tweet already @donthompson93

 

Maybe try to find more talented people or a new structure to make it more cost effective.

Are you seriously telling me that you can't maintain a streaming library of Fitness DVDs? I will even let go of the Kinect (since you at Microsoft already have) but at least keep the streaming DVDs.

 

Shame on you Microsoft. YOU MUST RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION. ıt was the only reason i bought xbox one. It is the only game i play, because for me, it is not a game, it is the only way for me to stay fit. Shame on me that i forced my friends buy xbox one.

PS : I am a software development manager for a big company, primarly focused on. Net Development and Azure. Since you can take these kinds of decisions, it will be better for me to reconsider the platforms i use..

 

The only reason I bought the Xbox One was for my wife and I to do the X1 Fitness app. We are using it often and the only reason we buy the Gold. You don't have to develop new content, why not continue with what we got. Or make it a standalone app. I'll take
that.

We don't have time for going to the gym so Fitness is our way of doing some workout. Please don't take that away.

 

Please do not shut down Xbox Fitness. It's one of the cool Features of Xbox One &Kinect. At least make it available offline.

 

Please reconsider and make off-line functionality with paid dlc support possible, no need for new content.

 

The main reasons I got an Xbox One was the fitness offering was better than Sony, I went to check if the workout I use can even be purchased and non of them can! With the Wii decline Microsoft has had the opportunity to be the market leader in fitness
consoles. Scrapping the portal is a big mistake!

 

This is their way of showing their contempt to their users. All they would have to do is keep the authentication servers running which given the fact that they own the infrastructure costs them almost nothing. Everyone be sure to keep this experience in
mind the next time you see anything with a Microsoft logo on it.

 

Xbox fitness is the reason I own an xbox 1 and have xbox gold. Now I will seriously consider getting rid of at least the gold if not both. Please reinstate xbox fitness or at least replace it with something equal.

 

Add me to the list of people greatly disappointed with the decision. Looks like it will be RIP XBbone

 

I am an avid XBOX fitness fan and hope MS reconsiders the original sunset proposal.

I purchased a 2nd xbox and Kinect specifically for the Kinect Fitness app to put in my basement so I could work out down there. Now you're telling m I spend $450 for no reason? Refund for my 2nd xbox please plus the workout content I bought!
