Xbox Fitness does not recognize Xbox Live Gold Status after first play

Ok. So now all the Xbox fitness titles have this "free with Xbox live gold" indicator. I have Xbox gold. The first time I do a work out it works great. I tell my Xbox "turn off" and I come back later. When I come back later and open any such work out that
is "free with Xbox live gold" it takes me to the description page for the work out and shows a double wide, green tile saying "sign up for Xbox live gold". Instead of being able to launch the work out I can only click to sign up for Xbox live gold. Which,
frustratingly, I already have, and it should know this because it let me do a work out already before. The Xbox live gold sign up button takes me to a marketing screen that tells me how awesome Xbox live gold is and I can only hit 'continue' or cancel. Cancel
does nothing but return me back to the work out description. Continue, not surprisingly (since I already have Xbox live gold) does the same.

Really annoying work around: HARD restart my Xbox one by holding down the Xbox logo on the front of the device, waiting a few seconds, then starting it up by pressing the Xbox logo again. After 15 minutes of waiting for 1) the Xbox one to boot, 2) the annoying
liability disclaimers to slowly scroll by I can now do the work out that I wanted to do. Please FIX. This is an annoying bug for your Xbox live gold customers!

Xbox Fitness does not recognize Xbox Live Gold.

Just purchased Xbox LIVE Gold and can't play Xbox Fitness.

I can confirm Xbox LIVE Gold by going to Settings > Subscriptions where it says Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold Expires 6/4/2015

However, when I open Xbox Fitness app it does not recognize that I have Xbox LIVE Gold and will not let me participate in those workouts.

Even the page that says Get Xbox Live goes does nothing. This is very frustrating and makes me not trust my Xbox One. Why would I pay for these extra services if I can't reliably use them. Please Fix this ASAP!

I got this error yesterday for the first time since launch. It was a bit annoying but just going back to the desktop, quitting the Fitness app and restarting seemed to clear it up and I was fine after that.

 

I have the exact same problem and I agree, it is very frustrating.

 

@pinkpanda1204 - if the account you're trying to play with is the one you are having issues with then it is not showing as Gold. If you do have a Gold account, however, that is having issues then try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds
until it shuts down to see if that solves the issue.

 

I do have a gold account. It's not this one, you are correct. This is my wife's account. When I do P90x all by myself with my account that is the gold account the described behavior happens EVERYTIME. Green double wide tile that says "Xbox Fitness" and "GET
UNLIMITED ACCESS NOW". It just happened to me just now as I was about to work out. I worked out last night and watched some MLB TV then I come to it this afternoon and it "forgets" I'm gold. BUGGY. FIX IT Microsoft!

 

Rebooted my Xbox one and it still didn't recognize that I have gold. So frustrating.

 

Ok, can you try removing your gamertag from the console and then re-add it? Let me know if that works.

 

I have the same problem. I am not going to do hard reset everyday. They have a week. If not, I'm just going to return it.
