Xbox Fitness Beachbody workouts, free to overpriced

I wish I had seen this post before I bought the One. Oh well. I will still use the free workouts and may possibly purchase some Jillian Michaels workouts. I hate her workouts, but I know from past experience that they DO work. LOL

Add me if you want someone to do challenges against. I'm definitely the type that does better when I'm motivated by working out with friends.

Agree 100%. I loved doing the Insanity workouts, but no way in hell am I paying those ridiculous prices. It's a fantastic idea Xbox Fitness, but talk about *** your user base with such pricing.

I'd rather pay $40~ a year and have free reign to any/every workout. (Much like my Xbox Live subscription).

I used XBox Fitness all the time for quite a few different workouts, but not so much now. Also, it's frustrating because I have the Insanity DVD's but do not want to pay again for the privilege of being watched by the all seeing Kinect!

Insanity was released in 2009 - it isn't even in widescreen or available in HD...the pricing for the whole thing is way out of sync.

I joined beachbody.com for a free trail. You get all of their fitness workouts on demand. I skipped P90X and Insanity and went with some of the less crazy workouts. I did a whole bunch for an entire month or two free. I got the workouts, the diet plans,
and everything for free, I could use my laptop, phone, or tablet. I tried to use it on the smart tv but couldn't get it to work. After the trial was over it was only like $4 a month. When I got xbox one I couldn't believe they expected me to pay even $1
for a workout after I spent over $300 just to get the device. It should just come with it...there should be more trials and demos to see if you even like the way the instructor talks or motivates you through a workout. I saw one comment where a user said
they hate Jilian Michaels but her stuff works. I need to know this kind of information before I spend $20 on a 10 minute workout out. I like the high and tight but I liked it free not for $20. And one other thing, the workout should be the whole system,
not just one out of 8-10 dvds. I think my rant is complete.

Xbox Fitness is still free for Gold users in the sense that there is no fitness subscription fee as the original plan was. MOSSA, 10 Minute Solution, Gatorade and Athlete Fit is still available for free to Gold users. Other content can be bought a la carte.

Question: I missed out on the free workouts, had I accessed them while they were free would I have them still as free or do we all have to pay for them now?

Couple things: You cant point to an overprice workout for 1 of the many P90X workouts that you could get as apart of the whole group for $60 (might be over priced still).

Also to those who want to buy 1 license to both the DVDs and Xbox One you need to realize that these are "different" workouts and not the system set of workouts, it just uses the same name.

Finally not saying they are not overpriced but $60 for P90X lite or Insanity lite is actually not a horrible deal... What would be great is if BeachBody or Daily Burn would just move to a monthly subscription model on xbox where you got everything for a
flat fee.

entirely off the topic - but Daleo , when you dust of your fitness beach body dvds - use the xbox one to play them - being able to gasp "Xbox Pause " to get a moment away from Tony's banter or Shaun Ts rants to grab your water and sweat rag is one of
my favorite functions of the Xbox One , once you've got your breath back "xbox play " gets you right back amongst "the kids /insane" - no reaching for remotes while dripping sweat -very cool.
