xbox fitness and health vault

I wish Xbox Fitness would sync my workout data to Microsoft service, Health Vault, that way I'd be able to integrate my Xbox Fitness workouts with the Windows 8.1 Health and Fitness app.

Xbox fitness and Microsoft Health integration not working

Hi,

According to many news sites Xbox Fitness now integrates automatically with Microsoft Health (Microsoft Health | Official Site). However, my xbox fitness data
is not being synced. Is this only a US feature? Or do i have to connect the two services via HealthVault (cause I am able to connect xbox ftiness and ms health with HealthVault). Microsoft Health (dashboard) and HealthVault are two different services of Microsoft.

If Xbox Fitness does integrates with Microsoft Health, how could I make this happen?

I don't see any of my Xbox fitness workouts on my MS Health dashboard.

 

Agreed. This really needs to happen. My Fitbit tracker (and scale) and my Omron bp monitor talk to health vault....xbox fitness needs to sync activity to Health Vault. All of the 360 fitness games (yourshape:fe, Nike +Kinect, Adidas micoach etc.) at least
synced somewhere that we could access the data. If you have the data why make us hand enter in health vault. If you want Xbox fitness, which is great by the way, to succeed have it integrate into health vault. Especially when you start to charge a fee
for the service.

 

On that matter, any kind of connection to the health services out there would be great. I am using MyFitnessPal myself, but it makes sense for Microsoft to choose their own service first. Also saw several lengthy threads on the MyFitnesSPal forums requesting
syncing with Health Vault.

 

Same request here, or at least a direct sync with the Health and Fitness app (as they did for all Bing apps across devices)...

Please sort this out. How hard can it be? You have the data! You have the technology! It would make HealthVault so much more useful and save me having to manually enter exercise data into HV! Xbox fitness is great as is HV. Come on Microsoft you can
do it!

 

Yes I would really like this! I use health vault and wish they would start to get more integration into my insurance company and other places. I use the fitbit connection already but would be nice since xbox fitness is already in the same company.

 

I know this is kind of old but I would also like to add my voice to those looking for Xbox Fitness integration with HealthVault/Bing Health & Fitness.

Here, here! All the fitness games and apps on Xbox should be integrating with HealthVault/Microsoft Health

 

HealthVault integration arrived with an update today. As well as being able to sync to RunKeeper, MapMyFitness, MyFitnessPal, and support for the Microsoft Band.

You have to link those accounts to make it work. In the Xbox Fitness settings, press the Connect button under Microsoft Health Partners. From there an page will open in Internet Explorer. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use to play Xbox Fitness with,
and link you other accounts from there.

It synced the first 2 workout I did this morning. Only in the case of MyFitnessPal it logged it strange, others are fine.

Unless I am seeing this wrong Microsoft Health (not HealthVault) is only available for MS Band owners. So it is kind of useless for anyone else using other fitness trackers.
