    Hey,

    So I’ve been trying to view my Xbox files using the file explorer app (paid version) and I was disappointed to see that it wont let me view any of my files on my own Xbox. I was apart of the Xbox insider program should that have any effect but I did close my account just incase but I still can’t access any of my files. Any solutions ?

    Oh alright is there anyway to downgrade or reverse this action. Just because it didn’t even give me a warning or tell me that it would removed my access to my own device.

    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    In the new Xbox Insider update Microsoft is limiting access to Xbox folders related to the system and external storage, if the change is implemented in regular Xbox updates, it will no longer be possible to use this or any other method to add mod or move the folders Xbox apps and games. I believe the change has already been implemented and there's no way around this.

    u are not able to see the xbox files on PC...

    the xbox puts the files in a container file... u can only see the container...
