XBox FIFA 22 - family account

I think I've made a horrible mistake with accounts here, would appreciate it if anyone can offer any suggestions...

It's my son's birthday and to surprise him I purchased and installed FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition last night as he really wanted it.

This morning he fired up the game and was very happy. But none of the Ultimate Edition bonuses are present - it's the standard game with none of the bonus points etc.

I'm guessing what I SHOULD have done is purchase it on his XBox account (and then authorised it on mine - he's a junior who's part of our XBox family setup).

But I purchased it on my account.

Is there anything I can do to make his account the "owner" of the Ultimate Edition so he gets the points, etc; or am I stuck ?

Hi Gareth71, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

In this case, the best option will be requesting a refund for the game, and once reviewed and approved by the refund team you can then re-purchase it under his account.

To request a refund kindly sign in to https://xbox.com/refunds. Make sure to wait for an update from the refund team before re-purchasing the game because a refund is not guaranteed, it will depend on them.

Games cannot be transferred between accounts unfortunately and, as you have discovered, bonuses for FIFA22 are not shareable. From the EA site:

"If you share your copy of FIFA 22 with your friends or family, it does not share your rewards, bonus, or special edition content. They’ll need to get their own copy of the game to get the extra perks from editions and upgrades."

Only option to ensure he gets the bonuses would be to try and refund the copy you bought (if it gets denied, you can try replying to the denial email with more detail) and then buying it on his account

No. There is no FIFA 22/23 for Xbox 360. The last FIFA title for the 360 was FIFA 19. The last PES was PES 2018.

Only Xbox 360 games work on a 360.

Ok so FIFA 22 is not on game pass through the EA Play yet. For PC, you actually can purchase on the Xbox Store. Since the FIFA 22 on the xbox store is only for consoles.

In your case, you would have to purchase via Origin or Steam.
