    hey guys, i got a rather unusual request to update a game i know has no update, the console did confirm this before running like it is on windows 98. i reset the unit, on booting back up i have nothing but a black screen with access to the home button and
    nothing else, i can get thr drop down menu on pushing home but again i cant use the controller to sign in etc, i have unplugged and cleaned the system preparing to try again, has anyone any thoughts as to hardware issues i can nail now before i try booting
    again?

    controller fault or xbox fault?

    Controllers come with a limited 90 day warranty so you may be able to exchange or repair it. If you've exhausted all other troubleshooting options (which it seems like you have) I would go that route

    Sounds like the USB drive you plugged into the console the second time is not compatible with it. Did you download Crackle to your hdd or the flash drive? If the latter try downloading it to the hdd only. Then see if the same
    result happens.
