Xbox Family Settings appearing out of nowhere

For reference I am eighteen years old and my Xbox account has never been involved in a family group on Xbox. A few weeks ago now my Xbox account suddenly decided that I was in a family group and that I could not even change my xbox profile picture or my privacy settings. I've been putting it off for a while but I need help. My Xbox account is not in a family group, yet it is saying that I am in a group and cannot change my profile picture, access community creations in Halo Infinite, and I cannot access my own privacy settings. This was not like this for the past few years I have had this account and I don't know what to do. If anyone can figure out a way to somehow get rid of these restrictions in some way shape or form I would greatly appreciate it.

    :)

Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Xbox account. I understand that your account is suddenly showing up as part of a family group, and you're unable to change your profile picture or privacy settings. I'll do my best to help you with this.

Firstly, I would recommend checking if you're still part of a family group. You can do this by signing in to your Microsoft account and going to the Family page. If you're not part of a family group, then it's possible that there may be a glitch with your account.

In this case, I would suggest trying the following steps:

Check if your account is part of a family group.

    • Go to the Xbox Family Settings page
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox Profile
    • If you see a message that says "You're not part of family yet." then your account is not part of a family group
    • If you see a message that says "You're part of a family," then click on "Manage family members" to see who else is in the group

Remove yourself from the family group:

    • Go to the Xbox Family Settings page
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox Profile
    • Click on "Manage family members"
    • Click on your name
    • Click on "Remove from family"

If you are using an Xbox Console, you can also try this:

    1. Sign out of your Xbox account on all devices.

    2. Clear the cache on your Xbox console. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games.

    3. Restart your Xbox console.

    4. Sign back into your Xbox account and check if the issue has made some differences.

We look forward on your response.

Microsoft Store is blocked by family settings

Obviously, I know where family settings are. That wasn't the question. Nowhere in family settings is there a setting for blocking the store.
