Xbox family plan gone

xbox gold family plan gone as I see a lot of families will be switching to PS consoles soon MS should actually look at some of the posts and maybe give a reason why such a BAD decision would be made just to put a couple (OK a lot) of money in their
pockets

If the primary in a Family Plan is banned, the plan and all the options for it are gone.

 

Family account scam from Microsoft

Family pack plan is gone each account must have a subscription to gold sorry.

 

First i have heard about it...

 

The xbox family account has been gone for over a year, on the xbox one you only need to person on a console to have a gold account making it much cheaper, you can have any number of consoles and have the same person on each console and therefor every console
will have gold.

It doesn't work on the 360 though.

 

Just a bit of clarification on how many Xbox One consoles can have gold from one gamertag. Only two console can give gold benefits to all other users at the same time. The gold gamertag's home console give gold benefits to anyone who plays on that console.
At the same time anybody playing on any console with the gold gamertag has gold access as long as that one gold gamertag is signed in, once that person signs out everybody else loses access to gold.

 

If it puts (as you put it) a lot of money into their pockets, wouldn't that make it a great decision? I mean, that is, in essence, the whole point of being a business, to make money.

Also, to my knowledge, the PS+ service doesn't offer family plans, so you'd be looking at the same issue there.

@Nemesis, Thats not how it works in our house on the xbox one, my son has my account on his XO, I am not sign in (becuase I have my own XO and am normally playing on it) and he has full gold access, I know thats not how it works on the 360, but saying that,
I can be signed into my 360 and my xbox one at the same time.

 

The new system although it is only for the xbox one is a far better system than the cursed family plan.

 

The family plan only had issues if you had 4 adults trying to share a family plan. I rather enjoyed my kids not being able to download M content unless I downloaded it.

 

BRING BACK THE FAMILY PLAN, I'm really having a hard time staying loyal to a brand that is always trying to find ways to bend me over.
