  1. XBOX Family and Privacy Settings for Child Account

Hi - I have spoken to multiple people at MSFT about this issue, but no resolution. They say system-wide issues, but I don't see those anymore and still have the issue. Here is the problem. I have the Adult account and each child has a child/member account
in Microsoft. When I log into my msft account and go to the "your family" tab in msft account, the child accounts show up. When I log into my xbox account and then go to "settings", then "privacy and online safety", only my profile/ gamerpic shows up and
none of the child accounts show up, so i'm unable to adjust the settings like multi-player etc. Also, when i log into the xbox console and go to settings - account - family, they do not show up there either.

I have removed all the kids from the MSFT family, re-added them, tried adding them through the XBOX console and through the website and i cannot get them to show up in the XBOX family group like they do in the MSFT family group. Any ideas/thoughts?

    Thanks.

    :)

Child account with no parent account

    Hello there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In order to manage the privacy settings of a child account, you will have to add an adult account to the family first :

Add members to your Microsoft family

You will need to add this child account to an adult accounts family. you can then follow the instructions on this link to manage the child account's privacy settings :

Xbox One online safety and privacy settings for parents and children

    Hope this helps!

Privacy Settings on Xbox App for Windows 10

    Hello Voosh,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Is the account you are using a child account? Child accounts need to be tied to an adult account through a family in order to have their privacy and online safety settings changed. The way to establish
a family is have an adult account sign in to the
    Microsoft family website
, and add the child account to the adult account's family. The Xbox Settings portion of our website has a section called

    Privacy & Online Safety
where privacy settings can be adjusted. Be sure to let us know the results!

I cant change my privacy settings

    Hello!

Is it possible that the account that you're trying to change the settings on could be a child account? If that is the case then you would need to long onto an adult account and add the child account to its family to be able to adjust the settings for the
child account. Take a look at this support article regarding adding a child account to a family.:

How to add a child to a family account
. Then also take a look here to learn about adjusting the settings themselves:Xbox One online safety
and privacy settings for parents and children

    Hope this helps!

Не работает Realms в игре Minecraft.

    Hi there, Wiki Kar!

Is it possible that your account is a Child account, by chance? If your account is a Child account, then you would need to have your account added to an

Xbox Live Family and then have an adult account to
    adjust the privacy settings
    for the Child account.

    Forza Horizon 4

    Hi
    bartusevüktekin
    ,

Thank you for letting us know you play on Windows 10. First, you'll need to find out if your Xbox profile was created with a birthdate that would register the profile as a child account. See whether you're listed as a child or an adult in a family group
by signing in at account.microsoft.com/family. Then, go to account.xbox.com and select Profile from the top banner, then on the next page select Privacy Settings. If it takes you to this support article "Change
your child’s Xbox privacy and online safety settings
" then your account is more than likely added to a Family group as a child account and you will need the parent account to change the child account's privacy settings from account.microsoft.com/family
    in order to play online.
