    I tried installing the new Borderlands 3 update last night. It failed to update. So I assumed that there was some xbox live issues going on so I did not bother with it much. Today, I tried updating and it was doing the same thing still. So I tried updating
    a different game (Battlefield V) and that also failed to update. So I cleared the queue and both games were removed completely from my Xbox One X.

    So I restarted my Xbox and was prompted with error code E105. Said that I need to do a factory restore on my console. So I did the reset. It did not work.

    I am getting the same results even after the factory reset. I also chose the option to remove
    everything from my Xbox.'

    It is sounding like I am going to end up sending my Xbox in for repair. But I also would like to know what would cause this drastic shift on my console.

    Any ideas?

    if an updates fails to install properly then it can cause a full re-install of that game.

    To keep this thread updated, any game install/download has failed. There was at one moment I tried updating the Store App and that too failed.

    Not sure what is going on, but I will certainty contact support before requesting a repair ticket.

    I will update this thread whether or not support is able to help me.

    Once I get home from work of course.

    It definitely sounds like it may be time for a repair, unfortunately. I would contact support first, however. They may have another solution to try first. Best of luck!

    I have tried the steps to fix this. I have also seen on this forum, people are having the same issue. Thanks for the reply.

    Good luck getting it sorted.

    My conversation with Xbox support on the phone was pointless. I explained what I'd already done. Was asked to do the same things again. Then was fobbed off with its out of warranty. Contact an expert. Ignoring the fact that was the whole point of me calling
    them up for that exact reason.
