    Xbox fails to boot after recent insiders update.


    After a recent Insiders update, my Series X was fine at first, but when I turned it off and got back on later, it greeted me with one of the E100 errors. It does it over and over again, even when power cycling and factory resetting. I contacted Xbox support not knowing that the OSU1 file for the offline update does not work for my Xbox with the insiders update installed. So I was wondering if someone from Insiders could help out? I tried dm'ing on twitter but no response. Thank you

    Can you try to install a recovery image from USB using the method described here:

    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/reset-factory-defaults-using-usb-flash-drive

    You will need an USB flash drive onto which you download and unpack the recovery system. Then follow the steps to reinstall the console's operating system.

    Make sure you know your Microsoft Account email, as you will have to download your account after this recovery again. If you use a different account, you won't be able to access your game purchases.

    If you have already tried the offline update option which should be fully up to date with it current public version of the xbox OS. I have to ask for you to try again on a different usb port and/or different usb pendrive offline update

    I also have to ask if you are on the insider program at all as well in case this update was a preview update issue.

    Last night? Are you insider? If yes then unfortunately you can only try to start your console.

    Try to waiting more 1 hour with unpluged a power cord, i don't understand how it works, but time to time this helps me to recover my xbox

    hello if I understood correctly even if it is an xbox which receives the insider updates, once an OSU is more recent than the insider update it is possible to carry out an offline update? my hard drive has just failed and I am in this situation, no way to update offline knowing that I have the very latest version of the insider update. thank you for answering it.
