Xbox factory resetting itself

my Xbox one s is in the preview alpha skip ahead and it keeps asking for a update when I update it it’ll get to applying update about 85% then it’ll completely factory reset itself and when I set it all back up and get on the home page it’ll keep asking
for a update and go reset itself again, can anyone help?

Rule out the connections first, try a different lead

different tv

different power socket

remove any third party devices connected

reboot the x1

Maybe a factory reset ?? if all fails

Brand new 360 unable to connect to Xbox Live

Have you tried resetting your Router to factory settings? Possibly updating the router itself? Just looking for the obvious first.

You should go to the Xbox Insiders subreddit for all the up to date about the preview program. This update required a factory reset of the OS.

Are you currently in the Insider/Preview program, or have recently opted out of it?

If so, the Xbox is subject to factory resetting itself to new preview updates (if you're still in the program), or the latest public OS release (if you've opted out).
