    I have no clue what has happened but i own an xbox one External storage and it randomly stoped working i cant play any of my games they all have the same message that pops up saying “the (name of the game) needs to finish installing or show ‘ ready to
    start‘ before you can launch this game.(0x80270300)” but the game that i was playing when it stoped working was Call of duty cold war its the only game that has a different message when I try to launch it and it says “ make sure your external storage is connected
    then try again. (0x80070015)” i don’t know what to do and when I unplug my external storage sometimes it doesn’t register to my Xbox unless I unplug it and plug it back in a couple times

    Do you know if the missing games are on internal or external storage? It sounds like the Xbox is not seeing the external drive. Try unplugging your external storage and doing a full shutdown of the Xbox. While it is off, plug in the external drive and then
    turn the Xbox back on. Go to Settings > System > Storage and see if the drive is there. From there you can also view the content of both internal and external drives.

    You can also try unplugging the external storage device, then power cycling the xbox, then reconnecting the external storage device and see of that works.

    What drive are you storing it on internal or external hdd ? If external it can't be usrd

    If external series storage card then that works

    You gotta remember the fps update needs a xbox storage unjt
