    Xbox external storage


    Hello,my Xbox external storage unit has been having a problem for the last month so i decided to come on here. I've also gone on google but cant find a solution there so any ideas are appreciated.

    So for the last month now ive been having the same problem where i try to download a game onto my external storage unit and ill keep getting the same messages that say "installation stopped" then after ill get "Fantom drives ready" after that it will just
    repeat those messages with my storage disconnecting and reconnecting until i clear the queue.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Do you know if the missing games are on internal or external storage? It sounds like the Xbox is not seeing the external drive. Try unplugging your external storage and doing a full shutdown of the Xbox. While it is off, plug in the external drive and then
    turn the Xbox back on. Go to Settings > System > Storage and see if the drive is there. From there you can also view the content of both internal and external drives.

    You can also try unplugging the external storage device, then power cycling the xbox, then reconnecting the external storage device and see of that works.

    What drive are you storing it on internal or external hdd ? If external it can't be usrd

    If external series storage card then that works

    You gotta remember the fps update needs a xbox storage unjt
