Xbox expired card

So I found out that my old xbox 360 account was still being charged for xbox gold every 3 months. I could not remove my card as it was tied to a subscription. now here is the problem, i made the account when i was young and spelled my email wrong so i cannot
turn off auto re-newel. I decided to tie the subscription to and expired card. What will be the consequences of using an expired card I hope I just get de graded to silver or something.

I tried to take off my credit card, but i cant cause its expired help!

Yo. My moms expired card is still there. I have another card thats not expired there, but I cant delete the payment option for the one thats expired.

Chances are you will still be charged as you haven't turned of auto renewal & will end up owing Microsoft or your bank.

As this is a billing issue you need to contact support
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

They are the only ones with access to your billing details.

There is no expiration date on the back of the card. The Xbox staff @E3 also did not mention an expiration date and made it sound as though there was no expiration date, or at least any expiration date soon. Honestly, I am extremely mad @Xbox and @Microsoft
for having expiration dates in the first place. Additionally, having expiration dates when there is no mention of an expiration date on the card? There should be an internal investigation on why no dates where noted on the cards and those with expired cards
from E3, with proper verification of an expired card from E3, should be given another code to use.

The Xbox Gift Cards do expire but the expiration date varies by card so you would need to check the card to find out the exact expiration date. Hope this helps.

Hello Sloppybackfat! Be sure to see if the credit card is still active and not expired. If it isnt expired then delete the information off the xbox and enter that credit card back in, then it should work again.

The link above will show you your current subscriptions with microsoft and there is a link at the top called payment options manage your payment card. once your card expires it does not cancel your xbox live. For example, my card has expired a couple of
months ago but my xbox live subscription expires in 2014.
