I found this out the hard way... We we are talking about the backwards compatibility then randomly one of my friends goes "My BF is a member" then sent us invites...Mine never went through but hers and my bf's went through... Then in his dashboard it showed
who out of his friends was a member(in the leaderboard) it was crazy!

invites to the preview program generally are not given out on the forums. These invitations are sent out by gamers already participating in the program. The best method to get invited to the preview program is to ask members on your friends list. There are
quite a few preview folks and it's likely one of your friends is a member that can send you an invite.
