Xbox Error redeeming code: Xbos-0x80153005 aad40042-b27a-4174-8543-e50255de7f4e

I'm getting this error every time I go to enter my code for crysis 3 and when I redeem it it says "would you like to redeem the starter pack?" I click confirm and it says "uh oh, something went wrong" then gives me this error code... what should I do? I
entered a few other codes from different games and they worked, this one at least says the code still is useable but it wont apply it to my account because of this error..

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

 

It's possible that the code has expired. Is there an expiration date on the paper the code came on?

I just tried another code, and it didn't work. Also, I've entered many codes and they work except for this game and "The division". It's like certain game codes don't want to work.

 

Because not all games are region locked criysis and among other triple a games usually are due to differences in international content laws

 

I've entered hundreds of codes from 2006-2014 and this issue hasn't happened ONCE then. 2015 and 2016 some codes don't seem to work and I've had my region the same since '06. This is something new to me so I guess I understand what your saying, "codes bought
from one region outside of US might not be able to be used on a US account".
