    Today early at 4:00AM I got up to play on Xbox, only to discover it wasn't showing up on my tv. I thought my capture card broke but to my surprise, when I plugged it directly to my tv it didn't work either. I got it to work after an hour but it booted up on error E102. Only factory resetting fixed it but I had more problems after that. Games would randomly stop installing, the home screen would freeze, the guide would freeze, and the my games and apps section would randomly freeze. I factory reset it again but it popped up on error E106, so I factory reset it again. Then it popped up error E102. After another factory reset it once again booted up on error E106. It still isn't working. My Xbox One S is relatively new compared to my other families Xbox's and theirs hasn't done it. I just want to play Red Dead Redemption 2 again.

    Unfortunately, this will happen if there was an issue with a system update. This can happen if the console loses power at some point while it was updating or similar.

    Because a factory reset isn't helping force that update, you will need to perform an offline update following the exact steps below as the steps are crucial.

    I'm sorry about not responding I've just been trying to get it to work but I currently don't have a USB stick to do an offline update. I did end up getting it to work but all the same problems were happening along with a new one. A new problem was that the games would not install at all but still be stuck at the same percentage. I've hard reset my Xbox One S a couple times before and it installed the setup perfectly fine. After I got in I had the same problems, then had another update. I still can't get it to work properly and nothing will open, not even the guide or settings.
