    Okay. This is for anyone having issues with Error Code [0x8b108490]. Try a full power cycle (turn off and unplug your Xbox for 30 seconds). That worked for me.

    [Rant Warning] So, the Xbox support system has the audacity to ask you to enter the error code into their website only to find Nothing! They are the ones who built the damn platform. They're the ones who number these possible
    error codes and they go, "I don't know what this code is; go ask other people on the forums!" Just wow. So I decided to post this for those whom Google search this error code since Microsoft can't be bothered to keep an accurate and
    complete error library. Okay [Rant Over]. Thanks for your time, all.

    Tried launching SOD2 and it gives me this error code 0x8b108490 apparently Microsoft doesn't recognise their own error codes...help someone

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues starting up GOW 5.

    I would first suggest uninstalling / reinstalling the game.

    Perhaps the game did not install or update successfully.

    Are you trying to play on an Xbox console or a PC?

    The articles entitled Xbox One Game Won't Start and
    Game Freezes or Stops Responding on Windows 10 will have steps for both platforms.

    Fifteen Dollars lost, don't have my Map Pack.

    I don't remember exactly the error code but it started with 801 and error occurred. I will try to contact Phone Support as soon as I can but I will try what Xbox Support said to me on Twitter as well.

    I looked over the error codes and I limited to the ones I think it was.

    I can't pinpoint the exact one since they are all similar.

    (My payment option did work, it was paid through my Microsoft Account)
