Xbox Error Code 0x80040900 on Star Wars Battlefront 2

I've been trying to resolve the issue myself, but when I try to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Xbox Live, I continually get error 0x80040900 along with a message of "wait a full minute, then try again. If you keep seeing this, turn off your Xbox by pressing
and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then turn it back on and try your action again."

So I've tried this multiple times, checked both my network and Xbox Live connection, and have done multiple power cycle and system resets. I've gotten this message for almost 6 months and nothing seems to be resolving it.

Anything else that I can do?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention here on the forums. I understand you're getting an Error Code when trying to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 online are we talking about the Xbox One Version of the original Xbox game? Check out the Error
Code look up results of your error code and try some of the listed steps to resolve the issue.

Error 0x80040900 occurs when signing in on your Xbox One, wait 60 seconds, and then give it another try. If that doesn't work try; restarting your Xbox; Press and hold the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds.

Wait for the Xbox to turn completely off.

Turn it back on and try signing in again.
