    Hi Microsoft,

    I've been facing the same trouble since 2 months ago.

    Always when I try to manage my account on Xbox Live via console, I have this same message with this code error.

    I followed the instructions gave here and it didn't solve the problem.

    I downloaded 3 free games because I'm Gold, and none of the are working. The console complete the donwload, but he games are not avaiable to play, although they're using space from my HD.

    If I can't make downloads, I'd like to be refunded my subscription fee.

    SAME as me. two months not working. i would like a refund now also.. seeing they can not fix

    Hiya Jack,

    Thank you for contacting Forum support!

    I'm sorry to hear that the issue is still being persistent. I recommend to install your profile into a USB Drive, then restart the console.

    Make sure your account is installed onto the USB Drive and not the console, then see if that will allow the account to register.

    (Plug in USB> go to Settings>System> Storage>Hard Drive/Memory Unit> Profile> Transfer/move profile to USB> Restart console and make sure profile is only on USB)

    Once the profile is moved, then attempt to connect to the live services. If there is still an issue, then remove the hard drive from the console. (Turn off console> Unplug console> Remove the hard drive from the console, then plug in the USB> and test the
    services again)

    (If it works then the hard drive could be corrupted, and if the console does not have a hard drive then it may just need extra space/Storage to register the information so get a hard drive or USB)

    that has nothing to do with this error and does not help even a format of the whole hd. the connection to xbox live works fine, it just that it does not detect gold account.

    Hey there Jack-103,

    Sorry to hear that your console is experiencing that severe of an issue.

    I see that you already talked to support before but at any point did they have you roll back your updates?

    It's surprising how many issues are resolved by that step. It's basically deleting your consoles current updates and redownloading them fresh off of Xbox Live. You can get this done a bunch of different ways but I would suggest going ahead with
    Solution 7 on our page entitled
    Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console.


    Give that step a shot and let us know if that helps with the error that you're getting.
