Xbox Error 8c15009, Xbox Gold Live not working.

I have read everything online I can find about this problem, tried every fix. Contacted Support and spent 3 hours commutating with two very nice polite and very patient people. One promised to get back with a fix in 24 hrs. (Did not Happen,
I doubt if Xbox contact you to say they cannot fix it)

Seems it cannot be fixed in most if not all cases. Do not think I saw any replies saying problem fixed. The customer loses out. you purchase a 12 month subscription but only get use of a few months. If you don't use it you lose it. Also applies to Cannot
use it you lose it.

If Xbox cannot fix it why don't Xbox refund the value of the purchase to peoples account? Seems like it would be easy enough. I also thought if you sold something and did not deliver, it was fraud or theft. Looks
like this problem has been around for a few years.

Why do we even need to pay for Xbox gold? You do not have to give us free entertainment just let us connect to what he have already purchased. Seems the company makes enough money for the owners to donate Billions of dollars to charity. I would have thought
they make enough money out of selling Hardware and licences to cover cost of support.

I was always led to believe great companies put Customers first.

Do not understand why Microsoft expects us to give them all our personal details, Credit card details along with our password to Paypal when setting up payment and believe they can protect the information and not misuse it. It seems that the more security
measures applied the more complicated it becomes and the more likely accounts stop working.

I would switch to Sony but alas it seems they are just as bad. I guess If enough people feel cheated then maybe they will stop purchasing new Tech.

I know I sound very negative but feeling cheated/ripped off tends to do that to people.

Xbox Gold LIve not working

I have had gold with recurring yearly payments and now saying I don't have it and won't let me buy it it's not showing a error code just saying try again later my 1 year payment was made on 11/3 but doesn't work as well when is this going to be fixed????
Or how can this be fixed

It tells me I have error 8C15009. Sorry their is a problem with Xbox Service try again latter. "Been trying for about 2 Weeks, Patience gone"

Cannot download from Xbox gold live. Cannot play games that require Xbox Gold Live, Ask me to buy Xbox gold live when I have a 12 Month paid subscription. Cannot enter manage membership. Cannot enter redeem code. Cannot enter Purchase history.

It will connect to Xbox live just not Xbox Gold.

To put it simply my Xbox 360 cannot use the 4 months of Xbox gold live I have in my account.

When I use a PC I can enter the account and all features and it shows I have 4 months of Xbox gold live to go.

Everything worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.

As I mentioned Xbox support cannot fix it.

Our suggestion here, get in touch with our Customer Support Team to further investigate the subscription and review the account to address the errors
being experienced when attempting to use said subscription.

In some cases, Restarting the Console can aid in the syncing of recognizing the subscription in case the membership was recently
extended.

Try these and let us know if there was a solution for the issue.

I clicked on your link to support and I have already spent 3 hours with them and they could not fix the problem.

The Console has been restarted and the cashe cleared I think the buttons will soon wear out.

Their is just no fix for this problem.

Sorry to hear that your console is experiencing that severe of an issue.

I see that you already talked to support before but at any point did they have you roll back your updates?

It's surprising how many issues are resolved by that step. It's basically deleting your consoles current updates and redownloading them fresh off of Xbox Live. You can get this done a bunch of different ways but I would suggest going ahead with
Solution 7 on our page entitled
Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console.

Give that step a shot and let us know if that helps with the error that you're getting.

I am having the same problem and also have spent alot of time trying to explain the problem to support.

No one has been able to solve

I have done ALL and EVERY trouble shooting steps possible. I will ask for a full refund soon if they can not solve this.. as they have no fix.

I have been told three times that someone will get back to me to resolve the problem But NOTHING happens, no one gets back to me and no solution has been offered even after saying the matter is being investigated. Then I have to contact support and explain
all over AGAIN and again even with a case reference number with all notes on file about the issue and even after clearly explaining 100 times the code and sending even photos!

A quick google search shows this is a problem with no solution.

the worst thing is Microsoft would be WELL AWARE of whatever they have changed or altered recently that has affected all these accounts but have not even said sorry or acknowledged what they have done.. nothing has changed on any of the users ends its clearly
a problem caused by Microsoft and they need to start by saying sorry and compensating those affected accounts.

Someone at Microsoft need to stand up and admit they wrecked something and created this mess which is code: 8C150009 which is stopping lots of paying customers using there gold subscription.

if that means contact support, i have done so three times and trouble shooted with three different microsoft reps. NO ONE can fix , and no one seems to understand, but if you search the internet there are many forums in different languages even in english
on reddit where people are saying the same thing THERE IS NO SOLUTION. paying customers can not use there gold account.. its almost like a coverup this error has been mentioned many times and mods have closed threads when no solution has been found.

so it seems people have been having this issue for nearly a year

i found posts on reddit, german forums, brazilian forums, french forums all discussing this code and everytimr after translation there has been no fix and all the people still have the same problem.
